Timeline and filtering

I am playing with the timeline feature. I am studying Nahum and wanting to look at how the prophecy of Nahum and the destruction of Nineveh fits within other books of the old Testament, namely Jonah, the books written during the captivity and ending with Ezra and Nehemiah. Is there a way to do this? I have tried using different combinations and so far just haven't found the right recipe. I am trying narrow the focus to just these items. Any thoughts?

Thanks, it worked great! I was including spaces after each of the filter terms, once I removed them I got exactly what I was looking for.

Don't worry John, one day they will get round to stripping our extraneous space in boxes like this automatically.

It is just that they think like programmers not like users.

Things are getting a little better all the time though.

Did you actually try it? The spaces after commas aren't important and are already ignored. (Spaces after colons are important, though. See also previous discussion: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/99699.aspx.)

If you don't see any events after entering the query, be sure to click "Fit" then "Show all matching events".

I've just tried it and see that spaces after commas are, indeed, ignored

But the conversation you linked to seemed to suggest that this was not the case and that removing spaces caused things to work correctly.

Has there been any change in this area recently?

My apologies - I had not noticed the change and simply recognised the experience of the OP.

What was the cause of the experience of the OP by the way.

As you say 'spaces aren't important' (in this place at least) except adding them and taking them our seems to do strange things with the display of the timeline (once you have set it to show 'all events' including the end of the line of the entry. Things seem to be a little over 'right aligned'.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever posted a screenshot of it not working (with no spaces after commas), so it's quite possible that people were confused or using different punctuation and misremembering what they typed.
