VISUAL COPY-----WINDOWS 7

When I copy a verse or verses using the "COPY" options, I have no problems in pasting to my various Programs. i.e. Word and Power Point.

However, when use the VISUAL COPY OPTIONS, I do get the full verses that I copied.

Has the option have limitations to how many characters it can copy, and is there another way to solve the issue

Sorry - but did you mean you "do not get"?

Yes. I do mean "do not get" the full verses that I copied.

The best way to explain it is that the option can only process one frame at a time and is limited to how many characters it can hold in the frame.

I assume that I will have to copy separate frames for long verses

I cannot find a verse longer than this at the moment and it seems to work fine here. As Graham said a screen shot of your problem might help.

the screen shot is very helpful to describe the problem.

The issue is not single verses, as shown in your example. But, with several verses, say, Matt26:26-35

As you can see, it does not cover ALL the verses in question.

I am assuming that it is designed for single verses or short phrases

Yes. It is designed for presentations. A passage such as Matthew 26:26-35 would be inappropriate for this format. No one would be able to read it!

Make sure to use the paperclip icon and use either a .png or .jpg file format.

An option is doing several visual copies. To fit Matthew 26:26-29 on one slide, removed a carriage return in Body Text:

Likewise adjusted Body Text a bit for Matthew 26:30-31

It sure would be nice if Logos would include an option to split it up in one step.

I remember when I used Proclaim putting something like a space or two dashes would send the remainder of the content to the next slide.

Wish the Visual Copy would do that. I almost never want to show only a single verse. It's usually the full pericope I use and I will never use it that much if I have to do it one verse at a time.

Also wish the backgrounds were better. They're pretty generic.
