Pronunciation - in English - for the rest of us

Hi everyone

Is there a Bible tool in 6.0 or available in a regular Bible that would let me double click a word and know how its properly pronounced in both the OT or the NT please?

Ever had to read The Bible in public or been near a friend in Bible study reading aloud struggling with a particular location or personal name for example....and wish you could quickly assist them with the proper pronunciation without having to thumb through original languages guides you never learned how to use in your Logos tools?

Blessings for all those who can give us all a primer on how to pronounce a word or a location quickly in say the NKJV for example or even the ESV.

I'm assuming you mean pronunciation of English words like names etc. It is not exactly what you are looking for but if you choose "tools" then "pronunciation" all the headings in factbook are searchable with the correct pronunciation.

Thanks Alabama24 I have that and went back to it. Not sure why but its every so often it is missing some pronunciations (word will be there but no icon to hear how it sounds). What is there certainly is useful though, thanks.

We can also stream the very nice reading of David Cochran Heath in the ESV, if you select him instead of the system narrator. You can hear one verse at a time like that, which may be good enough.

Also, this is one of those obscure times when gestures are kind of handy. If the verse is selected, hold down the right mouse button while you draw a greater than sign with the mouse >. Then the audio will start. Drawing a square in the same way will pause it.

Wow, I had forgotten all about gestures! Thanks for this reminder. It worked great, and this is a good use for them.

Indeed great gestures to use !! I have been using two fingers for Ctrl-R. Now let the "mouse" do the work ... haha. Thank you.
