Hi there,

I'm grateful for the NT Greek Audio bible that syncs effortlessly along with my GNT reading, but I personally prefer, as do many others to read the GNT with modern or Koine pronunciation. Erasmian is so rough and not very smooth.

Could you bring in Dr. Randall Buth or maybe Dr. Nicholas Ellis?

Thank you for considering!

There are advantages to the modern Greek pronunciation. When teaching a class in a mixed religious environment. It happened to me once that a Greek lady came up to me and asked me why she could understand me when I pronounced a Greek word during the lesson and she couldn't understand another teacher who has also substituted in the same class. I explained to her why the differences. I was using the modern Greek (demotike) pronunciation.
