Search TITLES in the forums

I know this has probably been suggested many times ad nauseum, but I will take a shot at it again: the forums searchability must be improved. I am sure there are many like me who give up trying to find relevant information and find it much faster to start new posts.

I know we can use Google as a work-around ("search term site:community.logos.com") but really, it would be much better to just have better searchability on the forums themselves. There are too many irrelevant hits.

Perhaps it could only search titles or the option could be given to only search titles?

You can use site:community.logos.com intitle:bug intitle:highlighting inurl:/t/

As you can see, you have to put intitle: before each word you're searching for. Adding inurl:/t/ removes multiple results for the same thread, by only returning the main topic page.

(But that doesn't mean Logos shouldn't try and improve the forum search.)

One of the difficulties generally with the Logos world is the ever-expanding world of commands, terms, concepts that the user must learn to do common tasks. This is why I don't contribute to the wiki, for instance. I have my hands full with tracking down clear explanations to syntactic and semantic categories in Logos (the glossaries being minimal as far as that goes, in my opinion). So, next to gratitude for your tip is a sigh: "another string of syntax to try remember yet"...
