BUG: Failure of auto Scripture linking in notes

This may be a known issue, but it just bit me this morning. If I put a space after a Scripture reference, the linking works as expected. But if I put a period immediately after the reference, the link disappears. If memory serves—which it may not—linking did not work this way is earlier versions. I could type a link, adda space, receive the auto link, then back space and add punctuation, and the link would remain active. Alas, it no longer works this way.
I have no idea how long this bug has existed, but it does bug me.

What happens if you just put a period after the reference before putting a space? On Windows, this generates the link correctly.

I can reproduce this on Windows - and, as you, believe this is a regression from previous versions.

It does not create a link if I add any punctuation.
