Why do my app Bible searches default to "The Message"?
When I do a Bible Search in the iPhone app, the results always return from "The Message" translation. Why can't I change it so it automatically defaults to my Preferred Bible?

Hi Eric - I can't do a screenshot at the moment, but if you select "Tools" on the menu on the left-hand side, then "Settings", there should be a preferred Bible option where you can change your preferred Bible.

When I have my Preferred Bible as the NRSV per the Settings of the iPhone app, it still returns verses from The Message.

You are searching "top bibles" which is your five highest prioritised.
Try changing to just "NRSV" by tapping on "top bibles" and selecting from the dropdown menu

Yes, I know that; it does work when I do that. But why can't the app default to the Bible I have set as my preferred Bible, which is my "Top Bible"? And who decides that The Message is the "Top Bible"? (scratches head)

It looks as though the app is searchIng the top Bibles in reversed prioritistion order. Is the Message your fifth highest prioritised Bible?
