[ACK] BUG: Cannot get to Explorer menu to change settings

This was reported before ... and claimed I wasn't giving it enough time to build the menu. You need to watch very closely to see the quick flash of the menu on the left side of the video. ... Blink at the wrong time and you miss it. Combined with the defaulting of collections to on, this is making the Explorer tool nearly unusable which is a serious problem when it is part of a Verbum-supplied default layout.

    A couple points:

    1. Do you mean Cited By when you say Explorer? The video shows Cited By.
    2. I didn't actually see the menu flash, even after several views without blinking. I believe you though. [:)]
    3. I'm not able to reproduce. My guess would be sheer overload of Collections? 

    Admittedly, the performance of the menu looks like it could definitely be better. Mine takes about 1s to appear, and I don't have that many Collections.

    I'll make a case to see if a developer can figure it out.

    Yes, I guess I had them confused again. Ironic isn't it that today we were told to use collections because series created performance problems. Yes, I've been trying to cut back on the number of collections but it's difficult when its the only way to identify resources as parallel.

    The fix for this requires a larger improvement to the Collections picker, which is slated for a future release. No estimate on timing, unfortunately.
