i am trying to login to Logos on Android as a different user. i cannot find where to logout & login in the app. Does anyone know how to do this?

You can clear the cache, although not Sure if that will delete and downloaded book.0

Mark is correct, you can delete the cache and data and the next time you start the app it will ask you to login again. Btw, what version of the app are you running?

i am running 4.4.7
will i loose all my downloaded books?
Yes. Downloaded resources cannot be shared among different users for a number of reasons, so if you change the user you won't be able to access your old user's downloaded books.

i am trying to temporarily change users for the purpose of writing a PDF (capture screen images & verify what is free) for friends in my Bible study group to show them how to get the free Bibles which come with the App. i also plan to share with them special highlighting via a Faithlife group which will correspond to the NASB95 (which i think is provided free).
My thoughts also are if they become familiar with the App, that they may in the future also purchase other books or a base package.
So if i change users as mentioned in above posts, will i be able to return to my old user and not have to re-download the books?
