I love that Logos implemented the new "by pericope" option for reading plans! I'm hoping that they have plans to go even beyond this though, and include these options:
1. by book (for reading Bible books in one sitting)
2. by paragraph (I would love this for devotional reading in the Old Testament, which often has extremely long pericopes)
3. by proverb (really this is essential for the book of Proverbs and possibly a few apocryphal books)
4. by sub-heading, heading, and main heading (this is needed for any other book than the Bible. It would be nice to be able to choose from the smallest increment heading, second smallest, and third smallest -if that makes sense)
5. by smallest increment (this would get results for a combination of the above; for people who like to read slowly, prayerfully, and devotionally this would be absolutely fantastic!)
6. And the key feature with all of this would be the ability to disable the end time for reading plans. For example: if I wanted to read the New Testament Epistles by pericope at one pericope per day until I'm done (whatever time that would be), I shouldn't have to scroll through and count every reading session after the plan generates and then enter that number to the "in ____ sessions" drop down menu. There should be an option that simply lets the reading plan generate without a time limitation. A "none" option in the "finishing in" drop down would accomplish this perfectly.
Would anyone else be interested in any of this?
