    This is how the mobile apps currently work.

    Features such as BWS, Passage Guides, Text Comparison are carried out on Faithlife servers with results being returned to the apps. Hence the requirement for an online connection.

    Various requests have been made for this capability to be made available offline but I don't know whether this will be provided.
