I was wondering what this "unified annotation vocabulary database" was as well. I'm assuming that it is something behind the scenes of Logos 6.

I'm glad I am not the only one who wondered this.
The Unified Annotation Vocabulary connects equivalent entries in various databases, so tools such as Factbook can present them as a unified whole. For example the entry for Jerusalem links the Biblical Place Jerusalem with the Logos Common Vocabulary Topic Jerusalem and Jerusalem in Wikipedia. That way when you type "Jerusalem" into the Factbook selector, you only see one Jerusalem (not 3) and their information is shown together.
In short, it connects things under the hood so you don't need to understand the technical divisions between our many separate ways of organizing data in order to find what you're looking for.
