Flashcards App Ads?

This may be a minimal concern for most, but I am curious why there are Ads for Logos within the Flashcards app. It seems redundant. I am required to have Logos to use the app (at least to make word lists to study on the app) and I am being advertised as well. I can see this being the case for those who download and don't own Logos. But, for those of us who own Logos and sign in to use the app, the Ads should be disabled. 

Sorry, Ads within apps irritate me. I would rather pay $.99 to have an add free option.
