Breaking the Index

It seems like when we get a new patch, I have to do another /rebuild index. It's kind of annoying when I do a search and get 0 results--even when the word is "God" or "Jesus."

It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that even with a SSD it takes so long to index the whole library.

That is not the usual. New resources will trigger a partial reindex but a software update will not do this.

It would help if you capture log files when this happens.

It would be better to follow the link in my signature line for logging, since you are on Mac. It might also be helpful to see a screen shot of the search and parameters.
