"X people highlighted this"

I'm new to Logos. Today I noticed a section of text that was underlined, with a little 'pen' icon at the end of the section. Hovering over the 'pen' a message popped up: "5 people have highlighted this." I'm sure there's a way to turn this 'feature' off, but I couldn't find it (Tools > Highlighting didn't seem to be what I'm after... ). Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks for any help,
Paul

Hi Paul - and welcome
What you are seeing are "popular highlights"
You can turn this off in the visual filter menu - interlocking circles at the top of the resource panel
For some context please see https://blog.logos.com/2012/12/logos-5-popular-highlights/

Thanks for the quick reply, Graham. And for the link--it showed how to turn it off for all resources. Phew!

Hello Graham --
I have the same issue, but I can't find the "visual filter menu" and the interlocking circles at the top right corner just does a refresh. Also the link you included is broken.
I never had these underlines before, they just appeared recently and I haven't been able to find how to turn them off.

Hi Gary, welcome to the forums.
The post you are replying to is a few years old, so that's why the link is broken.
The interlocking circles Graham was referring to are on the resource bar—they may have been interlocking back then, but they aren't now--
Click on the 3 circles icon, and you can turn off Popular Highlights for that resource.
Click on the down arrow to the right of Popular Highlights and you can turn them on and off for all resources.

Great. Thank you very much Levi. That worked.

Can you please tell me how to turn this off for everything... I can only see how to do this one resource at a time. Very frustrating!
Thanks very much...

I think I just figured it out... out to the right of "Popular Highlights" is a down arrow. Clicking that gives the option to check "Do not show in any resources"...
