HELP! Highlighting just broke on my account for iOS!
ok so highlighting has been working perfectly for me up until now.
But then I added a custom highlight style in L6 and I turned labeling on and a prompt to add a label when that highlight style is used. Here's a picture for those who don't know what I'm talking about:
Well this new highlight style worked well in L6 but then I noticed that when I tried to sync it to mobile, the sync icon in L6 had a red exclamation point in it and it said "there was an error syncing your highlights" or something like that. So I deleted the custom highlight and restarted L6 and then the exclamation point went away and all seemed to be back to normal...
Well now the iOS app highlighting feature is completely broken. It seems to be syncing any highlight changes from L6 but if I try to add any new highlights from the iOS app, the app crashes.
I use highlighting every day on my iOS apps so I really need to get this fixed ASAP! Anyone?

Some questions:
- What version of the iOS app are you using?
- Do you get the crashing problem in all resources or just specific ones?
- Do you get the crashing problem when using all notes documents or just specific ones?

I am unable to reproduce this. Can you give more details or screenshots of your custom highlight, the resource, attribute type and value, etc?

I am using the latest version of the app. And to my knowledge the problem happened regardless of note document or resource.
I finally decided to try a fresh install of the app and that seemed to work. I deleted the iOS app and re-downloaded it from the app store.
I'm glad that fixed it, although it seems like there still may be some sort of bug that Faithlife might want to look into. Perhaps the new labels feature of L6 causes something to go haywire with syncing to mobile?

YUP! Exact same thing has been happening to me for the past two weeks. I haven't had time to fix it yet. I have an IPAD 2
