It would be great to hear from tablet users what brands, systems works best for reading books, is it iPad or Windows tablets, android tablets
Logos, please make such a survey (I think the english word is)
God bless
Ole
The reason I ask for it is, that I dont know what tablet to buy, and I guessing that others might have the same problem that use/want to use Logos apps
There are a number of discussions on this type of topic and it really comes down to what you want to be able to do.
In general:
What functionality are you looking for on a tablet?
I just want to use Vyrso for reading books, but I dont know if a iPad will be best experience, or a windows tablet with Vyrso
I just want to use Vyrso for reading books
For this an iPad would be absolutely fine as would an Android tablet
ok, thanks
I am a bit temptet to buy a lenovo yoga tablet 2 with windows due to the formfactor of the tablet, but I just dont know how it is to use for reading
If you're going to consider an full Windows tablet over an iPad or Android device, I'd take a serious look at the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. I've been using Logos on it for the last 2 months or so and it's been working flawlessly. I have a desktop and an ultrabook laptop in addition to the Surface, but the Surface is by far my preferred device for Logos.
Having said that, I will echo what others have said, for a pure Vyro/Kindle reading experiece I'd still go with an iPad/Android tablet. I personally use a Kindle HDX 8.9 for pure reading.
Why? Because my Kindle is much lighter, smaller, and easier to hold for long periods of time. A Yoga 2 is 3lbs. A Surface with the type cover is 2.4lbs. My Kindle is only 0.82lbs. An iPad Air 2 is 0.96lbs.
ok, an Ipad it is then, thanks
I have the Ipad Air and have been very happy with it for reading and general use. Highly recommend it.
