Here's some light relief. This is possibly the most embarassing typo I've come across. Poor Arius.
Arius suffers from the 'Modem' OCR Syndrome
Reminds me of back in my college days when some friends and I visited this old country church one Sunday evening. The pastor kept pronouncing "Annas" the way the misprinted word here would be pronounced. My friends and I got tickled to the point that the entire pew was shaking as we were trying to control our laughter.
Even today, when I am around any of them, we are apt to say, "Hey, don't be a high priest!"
Oh dear. I searched for that typo and it's in quite a number of resources. I've reported about five of them.
There are a few places where it is a correct name, though. In 1 Esdras 9:48 in the KJV, the one referred to as Anniuth in other translations is called that, and I don't think it's a typo, though it's most unfortunate:
This is from ANET 121. I'm not familiar enough with the Ancient Near Eastern cultures, but surely these are not referring to Arius:
Ditto for these. This is from The Islamic Invasion:
And this one is from Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology:
It does make one wonder if there might be other "awkward typos" but I don't want to search for them.
I searched and here's another. I don't think this is what Spurgeon was thinking.

I went searching for this one once and found it all over the place.
A few places it is used intentionally (in dictionaries, and most notably in Luther's writing!!) but much of the time it was supposed to be part or far or fast. I reported a ton of them, but they've fixed most of them already (thankfully). A few remain, this being the most embarrassing. Note the yellow highlight for context so it's quite obvious what was meant below instead.
Oh, and there was one about "the farted calf" which has been fixed already. That one made me smile.
