If I bring up a Note, and then open a Search pane and do a Basic search using "All Open Resources", it will not find even one word. If I change the search to "Your Documents", it will find the word being searched amongst all the other resources.
If you're saying that searching "All Open Resources" doesn't find results in Notes documents, this is the expected behaviour. "Resources" does not include documents, such as Notes.
