Hello everyone....
I am looking for a specific reference in the Bible.....Can someone point me to which forum would be most appropriate for asking a question to help locate a particular verse?
Thanks.....
Probably just right here [:)] What are you looking for?
Should be fine here.... while not the design purpose of the Logos forums, it should not be violating the rules if i remember them correctly... Especially if you say something like, how can I use Logos to find verses on greed, particularly i am trying to find one on pastors misuse. And people may give you ideas. Even if you just have a more vague question that is not framed in this way it has happened so often on here I really do not think anyone would mind, as long as it is not a daily occurrence. [8-|]

Thanks....
I seem to recall that there is a reference....but I'm not sure how to phrase it as a search for a verse(s) related to it in Logos....It was advising believers to take care in the company they keep lest they fall into the orbit of sinful pursuits...
If someone could comment I would appreciate it....
Thanks
That sounds like Gothard 2:13.
Seriously, though, the way I'd go about finding such a verse is to look in my Topical Indexes collection for things like "association" and "alliance with evil" and "fellowship with the wicked." A couple of good resources that have such entries with plenty of verses listed are:
Where To Find It In the Bible
Nelson's Topical Bible Index
New Nave's Topical Bible
If you don't have any of those but you do have some others of type Bible Concordance, try searching in those. You can restrict a search to a particular resource type using a quick collection (a new feature as of Logos 6). Just type type:"Bible Concordance" into the find box that comes up when you click on the search in dropdown in a Search tab:
! Corinthians 15:33?? "Bad company corrupts good morals."
Ps. 1:1
Nu. 16:26
Thanks for the responses everyone.....I especially appreciated the how to parts.....It's good to learn new techniques.
It was advising believers to take care in the company they keep lest they fall into the orbit of sinful pursuits...
Search idea is unique keywords relatively close:
(believer,faithful) WITHIN 33 WORDS company WITHIN 33 WORDS (bad,sin)
Keep Smiling [:)]
Probably not what you were looking for but Proverbs 1:10-19 is same theme.
