Two thoughts:
2 "not so useful" features Logos have:
1. Visual Copy
2. Book Store.
Visual Copy being the worst.
No slide names so we can search faster, no editing whatsoever, terrible word placements, too much scrolling, no view type-by.
Mike, as I have Verbum,, I don't have the Bookstore so I'll say that the 2 worst features of Logos are:
1. Incomplete coding so I don't find everything and don't know what else to search
2. Bible Search in graphic form that is based on count (which is almost meaningless) rather than frequency/density
3. and I'll throw in a third for a freebie inconsistency in handling of verse mappings (rare but annoying) and the related failure to recognize specified translation on Bible references.
I thought you meant this guy.
Slim Pickens was what I was thinking. Maybe we're just showing our age!

Is that as in "Dr Strangelove"? [:D]
Yeah. I could always relate to that in strange ways.
Dr Strangelove
or "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Logos"
I also liked slim in Blazing Saddles.
The image I posted drew attention to the bookstore. I meant to include that, but also note that for resurrection there are no results for people, places or topics.

I get some for Topics, (see below) but none for people or places. If you've got a BP, you should be getting at least the Lexham references showing.
It seems like People, Places or Things are more orientated toward Verses than Topics. In Bible Explorer l typed in Matthew 28:1-10 and got some results for people, places and things. In the Topic Guide there is the Topic of Resurrection of Jesus Christ but not results in people, places or things. When I typed in Jerusalem I did get results under places and when I typed in Mary I got results under people but Topics should be tied to Biblical Events.
You are right John. Thanks. My screenshot cut off "Topics," and a couple other categories, which is a bit misleading. My eye was really looking at "Topics.Logos.com." The pickings may be slim, but not absent. I have Diamond 6 BP plus a fair amount of this and that. In fact, "Topics" returns quite a bit of good stuff.
topics.logos.com is user supplied data which few users ever developed and understanding of ... Reading lists is part of the same user created data option. I never lost interest in topics.logos.com but became frustrated at the lack of progress in expanding the LCV to meet my needs.
You have done a lot of work there, MJ, thank you!
