Please provide a link to the resource - I am not sure what book you are referring to

And what is the significance of your reference to "Bible Text Only" in this context?

I concur with Graham... We don't have enough context to answer your question specifically. Logos doesn't appear to sell a book by Walton called "how to read the Old Testament". I did notice that you said "teaching." Is this a part of a mobile Ed course (there is still none named that, so I don't know if it is a lesson,etc.).

Speaking more generally: not all resources are "mobile enabled." Most of the non mobile enabled resources are due to licensing agreements (publisher won't allow it currently), but some are due to technical reasons (something in either the resource and/or mobile app).

FYI - "Logos 6" is a desktop application (not mobile) so that info isn't currently relavent. What is relevant is the mobile version of the app...

How do I provide a link to the resource?

The reference to "Bible Text Only" is the second half the 8:16 video by Todd Bishop. In it, he shows a Pro Tip that eliminates textual breaks in your favorite bible.

Finally, the video is an  advertisement for Walton's Mobile Ed Couse called OT201 Old Testament Genres.

Are you referring to this?: https://today.faithlife.com/2015/03/30/how-to-read-the-old-testament-using-bible-text-only-in-logos-6/

I don't think you can view it in any of the Faithlife apps but a more expert voice needs to chime in here.

    Hi John

How do I provide a link to the resource?

Alabama and I are trying to understand which resource you are referring to to try and answer your question as to why it is not visible / accessible on your iPad.

We can't find anything called "How to Read the Old Testament" by John Walton and we were hoping you could provide a link to it to identify it

Walton's Mobile Ed Couse called OT201 Old Testament Genres.

Do you actually mean this course?

If so it should be available on iPad but I don't understand how that relates to the Bible Text Only filter - which only relates to Bible resources

Can you provide a link to this video - I can't identify it from your description? Assuming you are accessing the video from a web browser please copy the URL and paste it into a reply to this thread.

But if your question is about how to turn on the Bible Text Only filter on the iPad then you do this from the Aa icon at the top of a resource - the View Settings menu.

Please note this is a relatively recent addition to the iPad app so it would be helpful to know what version of the app you are using.

I'm still not really sure what question you are asking so if you can clarify that should enable us to help you further.

    Thanks for that

In there Scott is showing how to use the BTO filter in Logos 6 - not the iPad app

To do that you use the Visual Filter dropdown as shown below

If you are looking for the equivalent functionality on the iPad please see my previous response.
