[resolved] Notes: Text Formatting
With the latest update installed for L6 (today, 04/07/2015), when I now go to add a note to a word, I no longer have the option of formatting the text. The only options I now have are Highlight with Note color, or No Highlight. The options were there yesterday.
Why did all the other options get removed?
Can you please bring them back?

On the advice of Graham, I contacted Tech Support. They are not able to replicate my problem. I have upgraded from Maverick to Yosemite -- still no palette within Notes.
I have created a log; however, I don't know what this will do since one day the palette was there, and the next day it wasn't. Can't really replicate the error. It is just there. But the logs are attached.1145.LogosLogs.GIFKG.20150409-063846.zip
If someone can figure this out, I would be very grateful!
Blessings & Shalom!
There are some profile statistics for the Notes database on Markup (Highlighting) information, which may indicate a problem but I can't be sure. I suggest going back to Tech Support and refer them to this thread.
How extensive are your highlights and how big is the database at /Users/GIFKG/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/mthcs817.y1s/Documents/Notes/notes.db?

Hi Rick
Just a thought and something to check
What you are describing is expected behaviour for notes created "by reference" as opposed to "by selection".
Is it possible that the notes you are seeing this on have been created by reference to a verse as opposed to tied to a particular word or phrase?
Graham
Hey folks,
Thank you for reporting this issue. I apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing. We're currently aware that there is a bug in version 6.2, preventing the typical highlighting options from appearing on the Note Styles menu for some users. The development team is investigating this issue and we hope to have a resolution soon.
If you're affected by this bug, please reply to this thread, and include your Operating System Version, and the version of Logos you are using (presumably 6.2).
Thank you for your patience as we work this out.

Are you referring to the options shown below?
and you are saying you don't have anything after "no highlight"?
In which case please open your Highlighting Panel (from the Tools Menu) and see if the various highlights are still there.
Graham,
That is correct...no options after "no highlight."
I do have my Highlight template, and all looks normal there.
