I have noticed that many want to change the devotional on the home page; mine currently is: "Morning and Evening". How do I change it to a devotional of my choice?

Did your refresh your homepage after you changed the priorities? (F5)
Also not for me. Morning & Evening still shows. My preferred devotional is now on top of my 5 prioritized books. M&E does not even show in my list.
I have refreshed, closed L4, restarted ... everything.Any other suggestions?
Out of curiosity, what is your preferred devotional? If it's Type is not set to Calendar Devotional that may explain the problem.
It is an Afrikaans one; one of the languages in South Africa. Maybe that's the reason?
If you put "type:Calendar" (w/o quotes) in your library field, does your Afrikaans devotional show up? If not then this is your problem, it doesn't have the proper metadata to show up on the homepage. If the type is correct, I have no idea why not.

Well, it was an educated guess (spurred on by Thomas Black's comment) The type: syntax is shared between the library and collections. If you can use a type filter to make a collection, you can use it to sort in the Library view. Read the "filterable fields" section of http://wiki.logos.com/Collections
No you can't change it; the type of a book is set by Logos. You will need to request a metadata change (via the special thread or the wiki) and hopefully Logos will get around to modifying this book so you can use it on the homepage.

Deon, before completely giving up, did you restart Logos? Though refresh of the home page may be all it takes, I wasn't successful until I restarted...

I could manage to change Morning & Evening to another devotional by prioritizing, BUT, it had to be English. Logos 4, seems to be, does not like other languages on the home page.
Interesting enough, my default Bible Translation, is also Afrikaans, and the Bible passage at the blue Bible Icon with the red ribbon, is in Afrikaans.
I'll keep on trying.

It's not the language that's the problem, it's the metadata. Logos will have to retag the book as a calendar devotional. Until they do that it will not show up on the home page as a devotional. It's unfortunate.

Logos will get to it as soon as they are able.
To All - I was able to add 5 of the devotionals that I read to my Homepage by changing priorities. I put Morning and Evening after Oswalt Chambers.
Thomas - A new avatar? The old one "looks" more like how I picture you in a natural state.
When I click on "more" under one of my devotionals on the home page, L4 switches to the latest layout view and puts the devotional in the lower right corner panel. (I have 5 panels open). I would rather that it opened any home page "more" in a new window than change my working layout. I suppose a work around would be to chose a simplified layout before looking at anything on the home page. A really nice solution would be to be able to configure how these items open: Open in named layout, in latest snapshot or in a new window.
