Basic Search problem

Hi All,

I'm very confused about the Basic Search  in my Logos 5. The Search Helps gives you example on syntax you can use but when I use it I don't get the desired results. Here's an example:

If I search All Bible Text in New Testament in ESV for the single word "judge" (without quotes), the results returns passages with the words "judgement", "judged", "judges", "judging", etc.

Here's the problem, I get the exact same results whether I search for the same word IN quotes, but also when I use the syntax (without quotes) "judge OR judging ANDNOT judgement". It doesn't seem to make a difference.

I don't want the passages with "judgement" on them, is basically what I'm trying to tell it but it's like I can't take advantage of advanced searching.

Any ideas?

You need to look at your universal search settings (click on icon at left top corner of panel to open resource menu).

Setting match all forms controls the behavior you describe.
