Just a bump! Got the license for this with my base package and can't wait until its delivered.
can't wait until its delivered.
Yay! Indexing now!![8-|]
This encyclopaedia is weird in a good way, the coverage is eclectic but that makes it a really useful resource even if you already have an extensive library.
This is a great addition to my library. I look forward to using it. I'd be interested to hear what others think about it after they get using it.
Well, we non-Diamond users need to wait until Faithlife closes the CP (hint: it is still time to get aboard ) and ships it.

It's still some way off closing. Nowhere near 100%. Is it another of those that is near to the limit of people who are going to go in and now going to be stuck under 100% forever?
Since it already has been produced and shipped, that's not a normal cause of CP. There's no point in accumulating bids for bringing it into production. So Faithlife may just re-calculate the production price to move this over 100%, have it close (normally the next Friday), send the billing notice and ship immediately after they processed the credit cards.
I don't think they will have it stuck below 100% forever, since they want the payments of us to cover part of the production cost (that they already inccured).
If the price increases beyond the going CP price and they charge my credit card before I see the price increase, then I may well be returning it. I would like the opportunity to re-consider the purchase if the price increases and before I am charged for it.
I can't imagine that they would charge you MORE than you bid. If anything, you would just "lose" your bid.
This was a pleasant surprise on a Saturday afternoon!
Extremely happy to finally have this resource. I've been advocating for this in Logos since it was first offered back around 2000, give or take. It was eventually removed from being offered, but then when the other Hastings resources were offered about 5 years ago, it made a comeback...a comeback that was stalled until just a couple of days ago. If you don't have it, too bad--it's an extraordinary resource.
That said, in reading the very first article on "Alpha & Omega", I realize that links to the Talmuds are not live...and the same for other resources I have as well, apparently. What??? This is a major encyclopedia, and the links are a key component of its utility. This is unacceptable.
I bid on this a year ago this month. =(
