listening to highlighted text on a mac at high speed

Ok, I'm so thankful that on many books I can choose the audio and listen to them at a high speed in order to finish the book more quickly.

But I have purchased John MacArthur's entire sermon series and if I wish to listen to the notes I get kicked to their website and must listen at normal speed.  Is it possible to, say, highlight the text of one of his sermons in Logos and somehow have my mac read it to me at a high speed?

Thanks

I don't own that resource and your description sounds unusual to me... Since I can't play with it myself: you could try exporting some of the book via "print" and use another app to read it. I have used pages to do "text to speech" on my talks, and exported to iTunes. That way I was able to listen in my car.
