Notifications Need More Context

With the notifications from Faithlife, it would be very helpful if they had context. When I get a notification that someone commented on my post or affirmed my post without telling me what I post is, this is less than helpful.

Could you add context (like the post content and the flow of comments) whenever a notification is sent?

Am I missing something, or do notifications only show within the app? I'd say that's also less than useful. If I'm not missing something, then I'd say we need a third category for notifications: email, notifications, and push-notifications. Especially for certain groups, I want to be alerted immediately via a banner/alert, but I don't want my email inbox clogged.
