Sorry, no. What version of Logos are you currently on? What version of Windows? Did you try to download and install the engine manually?
Is there a reason you are using the windows version?

Suggest checking parallels configuration:

Logos 6 can be installed in OS X => https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/install

Sometimes you may need to reinstall Parallels Tools.
I just completed upgrading my L6 Win with Parallels installation without any problem. Do you have Parallels 10.2? That is the latest version.

Thanks everyone. Reinstalling tools did the trick. The reason I wanted to use Logos on windows side is part test to see how well it works. Also, at times I use the "actions" feature in Microsoft Word to navigate to passages and open the Passage guide.

\\psf\home\Desktop\ -> is the Mac OS X Desktop -> curious why would Logos 6 for windows look for that directory(?)
Did you install Logos 6 for Windows using all the Logos 6 defaults, including directory?
Like Jack, I have Logos 6 for Mac and Logos 6 for Windows under Parallels 10 running independently and each with its own Library Resources. I run Windows under Parallels as a Single Full Screen Session. I assume you have enough diskspace both for your VM and HDD/SSD.
If we know a little more of your configuration ... may be someone might be able to help you spot where is the issue.

There must be something in Parallels that corrupts the tools, for I occasionally find the need to reinstall.
I tend to jump into every beta with L6 Mac, so I run L6 Win under Parallels as an emergency fall-back.

Running Logos 6 on a Win 10 desktop and Win 10 laptop. Now adding a Macbook Pro . . . so could you direct me to where I could see what the differences would be if I run Logos under Mac or Logos under Windows? Any insights appreciated.alabama24 said:Is there a reason you are using the windows version?

The apps are considered "at parity." There are slight differences between the two, but most of those are related to how the different operating systems handle things. There used to be a wiki article on differences. I am not sure if that is being maintained now or not. I'll see if I can dig it up.

From a quick glance, most of the info seems to be out of date...

I have both versions, windows and mac, working. I have a late 2012 i5 2.9ghz iMac. 32gb ram. And I recently began to boot from a usb 3.0 external ssd. Both versions work well and have similar capabilities. However, I find that the windows version (using Parallels 11 and windows 7) is much more reliable when I am doing visual copy. Visual copy with the mac version will often "beachball" even if Parallels is not running. However, the Windows version of Logos does visual copy without issue.

Thank you for the response and link. I'm particularly interested in the hyperlinks as I place lots of "comments" in Word when researching and the hyperlinks back to Logos resources is a super time saver. Do you by any chance know if this works the same way in the Mac version? Again, many thanks!alabama24 said:Here is the wiki article: https://wiki.logos.com/Mac_and_PC_User_Interface_Differences

If you are wanting to know the differences in MSFT Word on Mac/PC, I am not the guy to ask. Sorry! I have messed with hyperlinks on a few occasions. The newest version of Word I believe is friendlier to hyperlinks than previous versions, but I could be wrong.
