6431.Logos logs 150416.zip
My Macbook Pro is in for repair, so I installed Logos 6 on a spare PC the other day. Everything is working fine, but every time I try moving around Runge's Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament, Logos crashes. It's nothing to do with the size of the file: I can happily navigate around Wright's Paul and the Faithfulness of God. So, I've done the following:
- Renamed the resource file and updated it with "Update Resources".
- Restarted the laptop (which is running Windows 7 patched with all updates).
- Tried opening the book in various different ways (from Favourites, Library and command box).
I know the laptop only has 4GB or RAM, but this problem is not occurring with other, larger resources, and I'm only using it as a temporary solution. I think what I've done should rule out corruption of the resource file on my laptop, and the fact it was working fine on my Macbook presumably means that the file on the Logos server is fine. I do have some highlighting on the book, and am using Favourites to find my place.
Any thoughts as to what might be causing this? It's not worth anyone spending significant effort on, as I should have my normal laptop back within a few days but I'm just intrigued as to why one resource should crash Logos.
