What is the difference between these 2 searches verb and verb-gloss ... I had expected the verb gloss to be on a one word gloss and hence giving me a more English centered selection.

    "Verb" is a synonym of "verb-gloss" so they should return the same results. (Note to self: The documentation is incorrect on this point.)
