Choosing this item from the menu work fine, but the listed shortcut key does not. Not sure whether this is a Mac-only bug or if it affects Windows as well...

At least on my machine, the Windows shortcut Ctrl-F11 works perfectly.
According to your signature, you're running 6.3 Beta...just MAYBE it's fixed in 6.3!
Well, there's nothing I recall in the release notes about that, and I think the windows shortkey wasn't broken in stable before, so they didn't need fixing it for Windows. I'm sure some Mac users will drop by and can confirm the bug for either stable or beta (or it works for them, e.g. if you have another program installed that snatches the shortkey - would I read this as "Option-Command-F" ? - before Logos gets it from the OS)

Yes, this is "Option-Command-F" and no, I don't believe there are any OS shortcut thieves for this! In fact I added a shortcut in the OS and assigned it to this key to (which would give me a warning if already assigned elsewhere) and received no warnings...
Hopefully someone from Faithlife can verify this issue.
bump to Eli, Bradley, Rick, or anyone else from Faithlife
I can't reproduce this issue. The keyboard shortcut works for me in both stable 6.2 and the 6.3 beta. As Mick suggested, I'd recommend going through your programs to see if something else is using this shortcut (I personally don't know how foolproof the warning you mention is).
The easiest way to do this would probably be to close other running applications one by one and check the keyboard shortcut in Logos after each one. I'm sorry I don't have a better recommendation, but I can verify it isn't a general issue with Logos.

Thanks for your response Dylan,
I did quit EVERYTHING except Logos with no better results. I also looked through all my keyboard shortcuts in system preferences and couldn't find anything that would conflict.
The addition of "Shift" for re-docking a panel does work for me, but I don't have any luck with floating a panel.
Thanks for looking into this!

Greetings Reuben
I have tried both the Beta (on an iMac) and the Stable (on a MacBook) and for the ESV at least the floating panel works fine.
I don't have the HDOT to test in case this is resource specific but I guess you have tried other resources.

Thanks Mike,
yes, I have tried with a number of different resources, all with the same results.
Since it seems to be specific to your machine, it might be best to contact our Tech Support. They can access your machine and take a look at it directly.
Hi Reuben, I'm glad we were able to narrow down if you find out which of those background tasks it was that was causing the problem can you post it here? It may be useful in the future.
It was Myspeed that was causing the issue. Thanks!
