[resolved] installing an SSD tomorrow, anything to know about reinstalling Logos (or SSD's)?

I have a 2011 Macbook Pro 13". It seems more and more sluggish, it has 16 GB ram but still the original hard drive. After reading some logos users comments about SSD's i looked into them and ordered one. It should come tomorrow. I think I have it planned out how to go about installing Yosemite on the SSD, swapping the drives, and voila.

I assume, when I download Logos 6 and sign in everything will be like before correct? Is there any part of Logos that isn't 'cloud based' that I would need to transfer over manually?

PS: I know I could just clone the drives and everything (including Logos) would be just like today. But, I want to use it as an opportunity to reinstall and OS and 'start from scratch.'

A fresh install is a good idea, but it might be helpful to copy some things to expedite. See this wiki article: https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs

I think I have it planned out how to go about installing Yosemite on the SSD, swapping the drives, and voila.

A fresh install of Yosemite (followed by installing all your apps) or cloning?

The SSD will have instructions about cloning & this makes an installation of your apps unnecessary.

Thankful can create OS X installer using 16 GB USB drive => http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/16/make-os-x-yosemite-boot-install-drive/

Personally have upgraded two Mac partitions by using bootable USB drive, which also has Disk Utility option to copy partitions.

Before enabling OS X 64-bit kernel several years ago, also choose 'start from scratch' so did not copy older applications that would no longer work.
