Hi there, I need some assistance in accessing journal article from Logos. I have logos gold package, who do I distinguish in my search such that I see journal only? For example I want to search about the " presence of God as feature in the book of twelves or OT". how will one go about doing it?

Regards

Vincent

You can set up a custom guide with the journals section only, but I think setting up a collection (so you can refine results as you see fit), will ultimately be more powerful, since many of the older Journals are not well tagged. You can search like this on the fly by saying "Search all text in type:journal", but I would rather have a collection, so I can manually add and remove things as I see fit (I might want to include ISBE results in with my journals, and might want to exclude Semeia. I don't know your workflow).

    1.) Open "Tools" and "Collections"

2.) Create a new collection named "Journals" and type "type:journal" as the starting criteria.

3.) Open a search window and select "Journals" as the search field.

4.) Search! If you are doing this a lot, drag the search icon to your toolbar and you can make a shortcut to your journal search. You can see where I have the bright orange ESV cover to the right of the command box. That is where you will drag to.
