In the HARDBACK COVER OF THIS COMMENTARY, there are 9 lessons, and they are all in separate paragraphs. In the LOGOS EDITION, they are not. The third (3) and fourth (4) lessons are in one paragraph. Am sure this will be very easy to correct, so can we get this corrected please. Thank you.

It is also one of my favorite commentaries Kendall Sholtess. I understand that it is also Thomas-Nelson's top-selling commentary as well. When I look at the ebook edition of this Bible Commentary on AMAZON, it is superior to the edition here on LOGOS; but most likely,Thomas-Nelson had that one done. Also on the ebook edition here on LOGOS, there are no endnotes. All of the endnotes are missing at the end of the commentary on every book in the Bible. The Bibliography is there, but no endnotes. The endnotes are in the HARDBACK COPY and also in the ebook edition on AMAZON.

I am sure LOGOS can straighten all of these errors out. The ebook edition here just needs to be updated and brought up to standard, which has not been done in a very long time.

Endnotes are <self-censored> , of course Logos has footnotes, like the very last appearing in your picture (fn 5 for Ps 1:3):

This is one of the oldest books in our library. It was originally produced in 2002 and last updated in 2013. We fixed approximately 300 user reported typos.

As for the endnotes: as it was mentioned in the thread we convert all endnotes into footnotes. Endnotes are never visable in the scrolling region of the book.

Turn on "paged view" (Ctrl+Shift+P, https://wiki.logos.com/Paged_View) and you will be able to see the endnotes at the bottom of the current "page".

Logos resources are not formatted in this way; all footnotes and endnotes are brought inline into the text (and not repeated separately at the end).

You can show them on the page by using Paged View, or click the footnote number to see them.

First of all, let me say a big thank you to all of you who have helped me to understand this situation better. Am not too thrilled with the "footnotes" at all, or the "paged view." Why someone would want to convert endnotes into footnotes is just beyond me; when they should be the same as in the HARDBACK COPY of the ORIGINAL COMMENTARY. Again, thanks to all of you for assisting me in understanding how this works.

What works on a printed page where the publisher can control the size of the page and the user can keep a finger at the end of the chapter doesn't necessarily work in electronic format. Feasting on the Word is a good example where users requested a reformatting to a useable form.

One main reason for using endnotes in printed editions is that it's harder to do the layout to put them at the bottom of the page. In electronic versions that's much simpler, so there is no reason to use the less preferred method of putting them at the end where you have to keep flipping back and forth between pages to see them. I can understand that some readers don't care about the footnotes, but for academic readers where the footnotes matter, it's much more convenient to have them on the same page as the text they are about.
