Hi. Went to the timeline under 'tools' to get info on John the Baptist. Found that he was beheaded in AD 29 and arrested ca 30/31 AD. Oops.

The aspect you referred to as "glitch" was discussed quite recently in this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/104057.aspx - basically the reason for this ehavior is that the timeline collects dating information throughout your library and different authors come to different results in their estimates for biblical events.
