[resolved] Search Trouble

Okay, I keep finding my self trying to perform a search that I am not able to do even though I believe Logos is able to.

At this moment I would like to find all instances in the OT where God knows (ידע) someone's name (שֵֽׁם).

Can someone help me out with this search and maybe point me to some good introductions into Logos searching?

How about this?

Clause search is very considerably improved in L6, and it's where these sorts of searches are done. I don't use it often, so I can't help you on general questions, but it's always worth experimenting.

(BTW, I used sense rather than the lemma for the second term because a slightly broader search is sometimes useful. In this case, you'd have got the same results with the lemma.)

Thanks a lot! I really should dive further into Logos searches especially Clause, Morph and Syntax searches have some enormous hidden treasures.

Even though I sometimes feel I want to do one search with all those options combined. I hope Logos finds some way to make that possible one day.

Clause search is much more powerful in Logos 6, so you'll feel this less than you used to — although the feeling is sometimes there!
