Is there a way to clean up the new tab menu? I can't seem to right click and delete anything, and I appear to have quite a few "untitled XX" from opening up different tools to see what they are but not actually using them yet.
Hi Kyle - and welcome to the forums
Is there a way to clean up the new tab menu?
Which tab menu do you mean?
Can you post a screenshot? (https://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot)
Graham
Welcome to the forums. As Logos 5 is not the current product, I'm not sure what you mean by the new tab menu. I'll make my best guess - if I'm wrong please attach a screen shot using the paper clip icon. The x closes it.
If you have a bunch of "untitled XX" in your "new tab" I'm guessing those are probably Guides. Though this screenshot is from Logos 6, I hope it is close enough to what you're seeing for you to confirm that's what you're talking about.
EDIT: Note that my "New Tab" looks different in this screenshot than MJ's, because the New Tab is contextually determined based on what the current tab is. I had Program Settings open, so the New Tab is more generic (with more on it) than if I'd had a resource open (in which case the New Tab only shows me similar resources).
None of mine are showing up as Untitled because I've deleted all my untitled ones already.
You're right, you can't delete them from the New Tab (though that's a reasonable request, and you could suggested it on UserVoice if you want).
But you can delete them from the Guides menu, where you can right-click on any of them, either the guide templates on the left side, or the guide reports on the right.
EDIT: Another place you might find those "untitled XX" is on the Documents menu, where a lot of the stuff created by different tools you might have tried out once will show up. You can also right-click and choose Delete there.
