When reading a conversation thread, those that do not have a picture of their profile are not identified, making it difficult to figure out who responded. There should be a way for the name of the person to show up, if that person does not have an attached photo to their profile.

It looks like the Messages screen was updated. However, when a person does not have a picture associated with their profile, it only shows an icon and there's no way to determine who responded. Perhaps, their initials or first name can show up, when there is no picture.
