iTouch access to my Entire Library - Is that Possible???
I have an iTouch 16 gig device - I have been using Logos on my iTouch for months - I do not see any of my purchased resources on the Library listing - should they be there? If so - what might I be doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Publishers have to give contractual permission for Logos to serve up a title on the iPhone; you'll have to check the list of titles available on the iPhone/iPod touch, just check this forum. Also you have to have a Logos 4 base package to get the content that isn't freely available.

Kevin - thanks for the quick reply - I have purchased the Libronix 1.2.2 for MAC Package and I'm running L4A11 - does the Base Package that I have entitle me to download those resources that have been released. The list shows IVP Commentary on Romans which I purchased - but it doesn't show up on my iTouch. Is there a function that you have to initiate or is the Library Function on the iTouch supposed to download all available resources each time you launch the application? I have been searching the Forum for a good explanation of all of this and can't seem to zero in on it.
Thanks

Mike, you need to upgrade to Logos 4 to get access to your resources on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

My understanding is that you need one of the current base packages being advertised on Logos.com or the minimal crossgrade to receive purchased content. Regarding content the iPod app download the content as you need it. There is an option to download a book for offline reading.

Final Question - Can I upgrade to Logos 4 even though the product is in Alpha Testing Phase? I thought we had to wait until the product was released? So if I pay the upgrade price - all of the purchased resources will download on my iTouch?
Sorry for being so thick about this.
Thanks

Joe - I purchased Logos for Mac on 10/9/09 - would that purchase price included the Logos 4 since it was under development at the time I purchased the product? It seems like that would have been the case.

Mike, Please come over to the Mac forum and i will help you out. I don't want to hijack this thread on a topic that is of no interest to the iPhone users. I can help you out over there.Mike Strawn said:Joe - I purchased Logos for Mac on 10/9/09 - would that purchase price included the Logos 4 since it was under development at the time I purchased the product? You will only be able to access some of the books from your library once you upgrade to 4. They have to obtain special publisher permission.
As a workaround, you can use LogMeIn to access your computer from the iPhone/iPod touch. Then you would remotely use the Logos app installed on your computer. This is clearly a non-native use of Logos on the iPhone but a good workaround if you don't want to upgrade to L4 for some reason or if you needed features not available in the iPhone app.
