[resolved] Find total number of words/lemmas in book

I'm looking to see how many separate words (or at least lemmas) there are in any given book of the Bible. for example, if it just uses "righteousness" once, it'll count as one word, but if it occurs twice, it still counts as or word.
is there a way to do this in Logos 6?

A couple ideas:
1. The concordance tool that is for now only available through Logos Now would help you do this.
2. Another way is to do a word list based on a book (in the original language). Depending on the size of the book and your computer's specs, Logos may huff and puff. But this would give you a list of all the lemmas. Thereupon you can count them. You can even use the flashcard feature, pick a preset flashcard template (e.g., 8 cards / sheet) and see how many pages you get as a quicker way to know how may you have (you'd need to go to the last page to see how many cards there are there as it may not be an entire page).

Exactly what I was looking for. The fact that such information exists at my fingertips with such ease is almost scary. It truly is a blessing, thank you.

Or you can export the Word List to a spreadsheet, open the spreadsheet, look at the last row number and subtract one from it.

I REALLY made Logos "huff and puff" when I told it to give me a word list of all the lemmas in the ENTIRE OT (BHW)! If I remember right, it took well over an hour (on a high-end laptop) and I ended up with a list of over 9k words. [:D]
By far the easiest/fastest way to get a count is to select "cards" instead of "grid" once the list has generated. Then select "index" as the size of your paper. You should than see a number expressed as #/### in which the latter half is the total number of lemmas.
