The app should auto update, but you can always download the latest release from: http://www.logos.com/logos4mac
Reading Plans
- Logos 4 Mac now includes the Reading Plan homepage tool
- You can use reading plans created in the Windows version OR
- If you have no existing reading plans, you can create a 1 year reading plan for your preferred Bible.
Biblical People
- Diagram nodes for Male/Female/Clan nodes using xaml from Cartoon Skin (additional skins forthcoming)
- Diagram Edges being drawn in blue (No pen colors or dash styles yet)
- NOTE: This section is still very much in progress. As such, instability, including crashes, is expected.
Command Bar
- Items in the command bar now sort correctly so that the most likely option is first
- The "Scan" command has been implemented for adding a directory to scan for resources which are not yet in your Logos 4 library the next time Logos 4 starts up.
- A Mac-specific "Scan optical media" command has been implemented which will scan any CD or DVDs which are currently in the drive for resources the next time Logos 4 starts up.
Search
- Basic supports both Ranked and By Book search modes
- Basic search article titles are now clickable
- Bible verses view no longer clips result text to a single line.
- Bible aligned verses view is properly aligned
- Bible search reference range picker implemented
Layouts
- Renaming the "Now" layout now works as expected
- Layouts are now grouped by date, as they are in L4Win
Miscellaneous
- Fixed a bug in some low-level code that was causing discovery to fail on case-sensitive file systems.
Known Issues
- Closing tab panels sometimes causes the app to hang, particularly with Guides. This is a bug with a third party open source framework we are using. We are working with the open source community to resolve this bug (Yes, Jack, this is the spinning pizza bug that is still here). This should happen less frequently, though.
