Why does my new books not show up in sermon search?

I have just bought "Sermon Studies (11 vols.)" and they have been indexed.

I wanted to prepare a sermon and opened sermon guide. I know that Titus 2 is in the new books, but nothing shows up under 'sermons'?! I tried passage guide too.

I am quite disappointed, because why have this search option when it doesn't work? and why have these books when they are not properly indexed?

I tried with others passages too, but the result is the same.

Jack I looked at the product also but I don't see anything about the book of Titus.

How do you know that it is covered?

It should be in passage guide if it is listed.

I have this series, Titus is covered, but it does not come up n Passage Guide so it is not tagged for sermons. I don't see any of the series tagged for sermons.

FL has taken grief for this before, they advertise sermon resources and issue them but don't tag them. They have also in the past issued revisions rather quickly, maybe they will see this thread and respond. Fingers crossed!

I don't have these resources, but I've looked at a preview. There are two issues with them:

    1. I wouldn't expect them to appear in the sermon section of the Guide because they're not sermons. They're helps for sermons, rather than sermons themselves.
    2. But at the same time, they're not really commentaries. They don't deal with every passage of Scripture, and jump about quite a lot. They're listed as monographs, not commentaries, so don't appear

So they're neither one thing, nor the other. On top of that, they were produced by a third-party (Northwest Publishing), rather than by Logos, which may restrict Logos' freedoms in updating the resources with new tagging, even if they wanted to. (Logos used to allow third-parties to produce their own resources. They don't any more. These resources haven't been updated since the L4 version was released in 2010.)

It's frustrating when you buy older resources that don't have all the modern tagging in, and I know my response doesn't change that. But hopefully this at least partly answers your "why" question?

The 'funny' part is that if I open one of the books and click 'resource information' then I can scroll down to 'collections' and there it is 'SERMONS'. Shouldn't it then show up in sermons? Otherwise I'm confused.

That must be a collection you've created.
