Multiple login prompts

I'm getting an OS X "Logos Bible Software 6 wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this" message. So I do. A DOZEN TIMES or more!!

I know it's the correct password, because if I type something else, it gives me a password error. So what in the world is going on to necessitate so many password typings.

Second time it's happened today, a few hours apart. I am not working with logos, but it's open.

I know you know what version you think you are using, but can you double check in the about menu? Then try deleting the dock link and opening the app from the applications folder.
