Had a bit of an adventure during this upgrade.

I the OS popped up with a request to 'make changes' that required the entry of my password. That is the first time Logos has caused this. I would like to know why.

Once I had quite the Beta 4 installation the 'Uploading Documents and Settings' window continued running and the application had to 'Force Quit'

On restarting the 'Downloading Documents and Settings' window continued running until I clicked 'Skip' after this the 'Sync' arrows spun for some time.

Now 'About Logos' shows Beta 5 installed...

But the application panel makes no such claims!

now to see if I can type in the resource boxes...

It would seem I can – thank you.

Unlike Mike, I had no adventures with this update [:'(]. In fact, for the first time in several betas, everything proceeded as advertised. The notification appeared in the tool bar, restarted and the new beta installed. the About menu indicated the correct version, and the Home Page confirmed that Beta 5 had been installed.

Altogether a rather boring update experience—Thank you, Logos [<:o)].

The application replaces existing files in the application bundle and currently writes an alias file to Logos's application support folder (~/Librarary/Application Support/Logos4); if elevation in security is required to write to any of those location, it will prompt you. There isn't currently any logging for what requires elevation but we can see if it is possible to log that information.
