SUGGESTION: re: default attributes in Labels

I am deliberately putting this in the wrong forum as it is related to the label bugs I have reported and might be most appropriately addressed at the same time.

As we are not perfect in knowing our future needs, we sometimes wish to add a default attribute to a label. This does not, of course, propagate across all existing uses of the label. It would be useful if the edit label function of notes were to list new and deleted default attributes (perhaps dimmed) to remind the user of the "missing" attributes and provide the correct name for the attribute (minimizing typos).

Not a concrete suggestion but thought might also be given as to how to show the user the names for additional attributes that have been used on this label. At the moment the list appears to be unscreened which also has its place.

Correct. There are currently no bulk operations that apply to all previously entered labels, but I can imagine some: Add this property with this value to all labels of this type; change this value in this property in labels of this type; remove this property when it has this value in all labels of this type. That would probably get us most of the way there.

Added to the ideas list. Thanks, MJ!
