Lifetime Subscription Option
Im not sure if anyone else has suggested this, so I apologize if this is redundant...I'm curious if there have been talks about a lifetime subscription to Logos Now? Or maybe a longer 3 year discounted membership? I wonder if there would be anyone interested in a longer membership period that isn't a monthly recurring payment? Just curious...any thoughts?
I like the idea of Logos Now, but I'm not quite convinced of it; primarily because of the subscription part. If I stop paying then I lose features.

I'm not sure what features they're going to integrate into future releases so I'm not sure. But, my understanding of Logos Now is that it gives people datasets and tools that are not in the base package system and access to a better, more integrated web app. I'm also not sure how many of those tools and datasets would be offered in future releases or if some of them will remain exclusive to Logos Now.
I'm thinking that if I had a lifetime subscription, there would be no recurring payment (it's only a few dollars a month, but there isn't a sense of ownership with the monthly or yearly option), I would always have access to the web app (key for Chromebook users), and I always have access to the new datasets regardless of upgrading my base package (perhaps there would be datasets/tools available in future versions that would be an incentive to upgrade the base package while still maintaining some unique Logos Now datasets/tools). Basically, I avoid the subscription, but still retain all of the features. Not sure if this is a viable option for their business, but I would be more inclined to go this route.

AND.
Logos Now is more of a "service" (think Amazon Prime) than anything else. There are (and will be) parts of "Logos Now" that can be "owned," but many can't. How can you "own" a 20% discount on a book of the month? How can you "own" a month long preview of a resource?
As for "Lifetime" memberships: How would Faithlife price this? Do they charge you based on 30 years? For undergrads that would be a short lifetime. For others it might be hopelessly optimistic. [;)] They know some of the kinds of things they plan to do, but they have no idea exactly where the service will be in a year. What if they need to raise prices? What if they get rid of the service? Oops!

Logos informs me that to give my Logos 6 to my Son at my death would cost him $20.00 for each item I have purchased over the years.

Robert unless the policy has changed, the cost to give him the entire library is 20.00. Additionally, you could leave the password and email address in your will and he can change everything to his.

That isn't correct. First, to transfer ownership is a flat $20 fee for one OR one hundred thousand. Secondly, there should be no fee in the case of death.
