iPad Panel Scrolling and Syncing

Recently noted a change in the way panels scroll. They used to scroll horizontally (press right to advance a page or left to go back a page).  This was very helpful since any notes or citations would appear at the bottom of each relevant page.

The update now scrolls vertically and I need to tap on the note or citation to see it. In addition, the syncing does not seem to work properly or consistently.

I much prefer the old horizontal scrolling and hope you will consider re-implementing.

    Welcome! [:)]

Nothing has changed. It is likely you have adjusted a setting. If you want page scrolling, set columns to "none." If you want page turns, set columns to "one." NOTE: If you want to see footnotes on the bottom of the page, you must be in "column" view (one or more).

EDIT: I just realized which forum this was in. Same problem, slightly different solution:

Tap on the "view settings" button (Aa icon) and turn "scrolling view" off.
