When "is now available" Doesn't Really Mean "is now available"

When I tweet about a Community Pricing or Pre-Pub item in order to promote it among my dozen and dozen of followers, I always change the provided text that reads "is now available" to "can be bid on". Because it is "available" ONLY when someone can plunk their money down and download the resource. As we all know, it could be years before that happens.

Am I the only one who does this and the only whom it bothers that I have to?

(Sorry if this topic has already been belabored; I searched for such, but couldn't find it.)
