[resolved] BUG: (6.2 SR-1) Lexham Discourse Bible Not following link-set from NT to OT

I have the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament and the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible set to a series "Lexham Discourse Bible." As far as I remember everything worked perfectly until very recently...

1) I have ESV and Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible (and other bibles) set to link-set "A", reading in Amos 3.

2) I enter Gal 2:20 in ESV reference box, and everything navigates there with the LDHB switching to LDGNT.

3) I go back to Amos in ESV, but LDGNT doesn't switch/follow.

4) I scroll up and down in ESV to change the verse number in hopes of "refreshing" the link-set, but no change.

5) I return to NT in ESV and navigate to different references with LDGNT following nicely

6) I navigate to OT again and LDGNT remains "stuck" on latest NT reference.

7) I enter a OT reference in ref. box of LDGNT and it nicely switches to LDHB and resumes nicely following ESV

I tried updating (none available) and restarting Logos, but everything remains the same. I can consistently reproduce this unacceptable behavior. Anyone else able to reproduce?

I am running the latest version of Logos and the latest version of Mac OS X.

I don't have either Lexham Discourse bible but I can't reproduce step 3 with LGNTI and LHI in a series and REB on the same link set.

Does it make a difference if you remove the other bibles from the link set i.e. only ESV and Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible are involved?

    Thanks for your response Dave,

No, I checked it with only those two resources on a link set. I did find even stranger (but perhaps more trackable) behavior! When navigating from the NT  to any of the OT books from Gen-2Kings (in ESV) the LDBNT switches nicely, but going from a NT reference to any reference in 1Chron-Mal, it does NOT work. I also tried a different English bible as the "leader" and have the same results.

I can reproduce this on Windows in 6.3. As you say, it works for the earlier books, but not the later ones. It looks like a resource bug of some kind.

    Thanks for verifying, Mark!

Could someone from Faithlife chime in to let us know the issue has been noticed/filed?

    3) I go back to Amos in ESV, but LDGNT doesn't switch/follow.

I'm unable to replicate this step. Navigating from Galactians 2:20 back to Amos 3 works fine for me. Can you copy and paste the resource support info from LDGNT and the LDHB? CLick the "i" icon in the top right of the book file. The support info is at the bottom of the panel.

After a reboot, this is working for me. I can't explain why it wasn't before!

Maybe Reuben needs to reboot his machine too? It's worth trying.

    Thanks for responding Tommy!

I didn't reboot, but after crashing Logos a couple times this morning and restarting it, everything is now working! I'm glad Mark reproduced the behavior so I don't feel like an idiot! [;)]

Concerning the crashing...I was trying to reindex a resource that was open, will that normally cause a crash? The NICOT 1Sam 21:1 points to the wrong place (apparently due to versification of Hebrew) and I thought I'd reindex just that volume to make sure that's not the issue. What's the best way to address that issue? When running a guide on 1Sam. 21:1-9 and clicking on the NICOT link, I get taken to the verse 2 entry. If I scroll up to the verse 1 entry and hover/click I get sent to 20:42 (ESV). I know the versification is different here between the Hebrew and English, but I'm not sure how Logos normally adjusts the target...apparently it's not an index issue, since the problem persists after reindexing the NICOT volume as well as the BHS.
